FAMILY is organized as a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization administered by an active Board of Directors and small staff. Along with their commitment to FAMILY's vision, our Board members are directly involved with FAMILY initiatives and responsible for strategic planning, outreach to government decision-makers, program development, staff recruitment, evaluation planning, and fundraising.
When the FAMILY membership organization is formed, a separate, but related decision-making organization will be formed in each local community as FAMILY grows and multiplies, to ensure that all participants will participate actively in decision-making.
